InnerState Coaching For Athletes

The InnerState coaching process for athletes is the only coaching program of it’s kind for endurance athletes. Where most coaches at best only give the mental and emotional aspects of training and racing ‘honorable mention’, Lisa has crafted an effective process for integrating the physical, mental and emotional aspects of training and racing.
The basic premise of InnerState TM coaching for athletes is how you show up for training and racing is a reflection of how you show up in every other aspect of your life.
With this as our starting point, we begin to investigate the core beliefs you have about who you are as an athlete. Any unhealthy or dysfunctional belief programs are identified and dismantled so that they can be replaced with empowering programs that support your highest vision of peak performance. For some athletes, peak performance is to complete an Ironman Triathlon or a marathon. For others it may be to qualify for the national team or even the olympics. And still other athletes may have the vision of completing a full season uninjured. In each of these cases, safe and effective physical preparation is key and effective mental and emotional training is necessary.

Athletes must commit to coaching for at least one season. Workouts are delivered via an interactive, online workout log in one month blocks. Coaching includes an individualized annual training plan for key races, heart rate training based on regular benchmark tests and a periodized schedule of daily workouts. Athletes work closely with Lisa using the InnerState TM coaching process during their 1-hour, one-on-one coaching calls scheduled twice per month. General coaching communication regarding workouts and training schedule are initiated by the athlete on an unlimited basis.
